Every time master blaster arrives in his dream venue of Gwalior, Sachin Tendulkar’s first call will be to be his sister Archana Purohit. Incidentally, this sentiment has worked out for Sachin Tendulkar to hit centuries and half centuries and also win the matches for Indian cricket team at this venue.

Archana Purohit, is not the blood relation to Sachin Tendulkar but she is wife of a Manager who works at Captain Roop Singh stadium. This manager has met Sachin Tendulkar in 1999 during the match with New Zealand and at the same time this caring husband has not forgotten to make his wife speak with Sachin Tendulkar over the phone.

Archana Purohit who was happy to speak with master blaster has requested to offer him ‘Tika’ (That is Kum Kum) by meeting him personally, for which Sachin Tendulkar agreed. Soon she arrived at the stadium and kept the tilak on the forehead of Sachin Tendulkar that is called ‘Tika.’ Sachin Tendulkar has roared in the match that day and it was an easy win for the team.

Impressed by the magic of ‘Tika,’ Sachin Tendulkar has made Archana Purohit his sister and the relation continued. Every time Sachin Tendulkar comes to Gwalior, he offers gifts to this lovely sister and makes his presence at her home.
