Like My Dad i Skipped Shootings to Watch Sachin Tendulkar Bat. he is my Idol - Abhishek bacchan :) That's Respect !!

i have been watching Sachin play cricket. I can never miss his game. Also, while we are busy shooting but we all took break, so that we can watch him play in farewell.

i first met sachin in 2001 when Rohan Gavaskar told me that Sachin wanted to watch dad's film ‘Aks’. But he just feel shy to put forth the request to Big B. :

“Somehow, we planned to show him the film in a studio situated at Film City. Since this was the first time I was to meet Sachin properly, I was handling the production.

 Therefore I saw that the studio was cleaned well before he entered it. After all it was Sachin! So, I did not leave any stone unturned in order to make him feel comfortable.”

AB junior says, “I turned closer to Sachin only after I married Aishwarya. “Sachin resides very close to her residence and they know each other for a longer period of time.”

Sachin Tendulkar,326* two months short of 15, and Vinod Kambli,16, scored of 349* for Shardashram Vidyamandir against St Xavier’s High School, in the Harris Shield semi-final played at Azad Maidan between February 23 and 25, 1988. 664* Record Breaks by Hyd u-14 playes by 721 runs in 2006,  but nothing comes close to the 664-run partnership between Sachin and Kambli. It was a special effort from two special boys.

TEAM : S Tendulkar, A Ranatunga S Afridi, S Anwar A D'Silva S Jayasuriya, C Vaas, s joshi v prasad, a jadeja. and many more. Prime Minister I K Gujral inaugurated the stadium,  Clive Lloyd and Alvin Kallicharan of the West Indies, Zaheer Abbas and Hanif Mohammad of Pakistan, Sunil Gavaskar, S M H Kirmani and E A S Prasanna of India -- were honoured on the occasion.
