Gautam Gambhir picks Sachin Tendulkar as the best ODI batsman. He said the way Sachin played, different rules, that time 230-240 was winning total. He adds It’s difficult because Virat Kohli has done phenomenally well, but he'll go with Sachin due to longevity and flow in ODIs.

Prime Minister I K Gujral inaugurated the stadium,  Clive Lloyd and Alvin Kallicharan of the West Indies, Zaheer Abbas and Hanif Mohammad of Pakistan, Sunil Gavaskar, S M H Kirmani and E A S Prasanna of India -- were honoured on the occasion.
